Job Description
The Lombard Street Group is
a fast paced, growing, independent insurance
agency that has been serving small to mid sized
businesses in South Florida for more than 13
years. Our specialty is meeting the needs and
exceeding the expectations of our clients for
Commercial Property & Casualty as well as
Personal Lines Insurance. We have moved
into our new plush and larger office, located in
Deerfield Beach.
We are always looking
for career minded Commercial Lines Agents
& CSRs for our agency. Applicant
MUST have either a 4-40 or 2-20 insurance
license with insurance agency experience
including endorsing, writing and servicing all
types of Commercial Lines coverage.
RESPONSIBILITIES - AGENT/PRODUCER:
- Work with new leads received daily
from marketing done by agency
- Present complete choice of coverage to
prospect - Coverage as needed along with
Cross Selling
- Ask for referrals after completion
RESPONSIBILITIES
- CSR:
• Work
with clients to resolve their immediate needs:
issue Certificates of Insurance, handle
payments, endorsements, reinstatements etc..
assist Porducer(s) as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES - AGENT/CSR - RENEWAL
DEPT:
- Work with exisitng clients at time of
their renewal
- Present complete choice of coverage -
Renewal needs and Cross selling needs
- Other clerical related duties as need be or
assigned
- Ask for referrals after completion
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Two or more year’s insurance experience as a
producer, administrative assistant, underwriter
or customer service representative in an
insurance agency or for a commercial lines
carrier/MGA will be considered.
• 440 or 220 license is
required.
• Excellent written
and verbal communication skills.
• Well-developed problem solving
skills.
• Strong organizational
and customer service skills.
•
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs: Word
2003 and Outlook 2003. Ability to negotiate the
Internet using Internet Explorer
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and is
a fast learner.
